Moab, Utah!!

You are invited to be a vendor of good food at the 2009 MOAB ANTIQUE MART, the last weekend in June, Saturday (10 – 6 pm) and Sunday  (10-4 pm). This fun and well-publicized event will the held at the popular Swanny City Park, just west of Hwy 191 and on the corner of 400 North and 100 West. (see directions below)

FOOD VENDING REQUIREMENTS: Food must be freshly prepared or packaged food products. The food court will be located outside on the west side of the park. Each food vendor must provide his or her mobile display, preparation booth and equipment, and must attend to the unit at all times.

Food vendors also must have adequate internal cooking and/or cooling equipment as needed to maintain your product in a safe and health fashion. All equipment must meet or exceed NSF specifications. No one will be allowed to exhibit fresh food from a site-constructed non-electrical booth.

All food booths will be required to conform to all appropriate state and local regulations. All personnel working in food booths are required to have current food handler permits. You will be required to purchase a Utah Health permit prior to selling any product.

SPACES: First-come, first served. You will be assigned your area at the discretion of the Antique Mart promoters. Each booth must display an identifying sign. You are responsible for setting up your own equipment and keeping your area clean and healthful for food consumption and safety. Setting up tables and chairs is optional but nice. We cannot guarantee shade or good weather.

ADVERTISING: We’re shouting about this to the sky! LGP will be heavily promoting this Mart via multiple posters, flyers, highway signs, mailings, television and newspapers in order to attract buyers to this fun event from everywhere. In addition, Moab will already be jammed packed with tourists who will be directed to the event with handouts or signs, and some of those “tourists” will be international with plenty of money to spend!!

THE WEATHER & YOU: Remember: the end of June in Moab is not for the faint of heart. It’s hot. So strongly consider bringing a large umbrella at the least, or even better, a canopy (borrow one from your friends, or you can buy them, which range from $110 up new at Wal Mart for a 10 x 10, and there are larger sizes. Also google “canopy”.) Bring plenty of water and sunscreen. There is no guarantee of a shady spot. Sorry, we are unable to refund for bad weather or cancellations.

SALES TAX: A temporary sales tax license will be issued at no cost at the beginning of the show. The tax rate in Moab is 8.8%. Exhibitors are responsible for reporting sales from this show directly to the Utah State Tax Commission. Sorry, but we have to be honest to be legit year-to-year and continue providing you an annual and great antique show to sell in!

FEE: $195.00 covers both days, due in full and non-refundable. No other fees. We do NOT take 10% of your sales.

Uh oh. No pets are allowed on the premises of the Swanny City Park.
